In 1968 when I founded the Blum-Novotest Company as an engineering office for the machine tool industry I had the vision to combine innovative mechanical engineering with electronics to design new and much more efficient machines.
 

While studying aircraft engineering I became familiar with the latest technology of the time. The machine tool industry in the Sixties was still very close to its mechanical roots. I realized the opportunity to establish a business with creative ideas in the rapidly growing machine tool industry. The solutions available at the time were not sufficient to meet the highly technical market demands. It was only with our own engineered solutions that my business idea became successful.

 
Over the years our product lines changed from machine tool engineering and the production of interface controls to today´s Production Measuring Machines, Test Stands and Machine Tool Measuring Components.

In the recent years we entered the global market with both proven as well as innovative new products. Our distributors consist of System Integrators which guarantee full service capability for our products. Today a network of Blum-Novotest subsidiaries and System Integrators provide full service coverage in all major markets of the world.
 

The initial vision, complemented by Software Technology, best service and application support, remain the key factor for our strategy. From the beginning Blum-Novotest was driven by all in the business working shareholders as well as every single hard and responsible working employee.

In 1989 NOVOTEST was found as an engineering company with the aim of offering solutions for high-end testing technology. In 1993 we incorporated our competences and know how into the Blum-Novotest GmbH group. NOVOTEST are independent and offer hardware-neutral solutions meaning it is your fair partner in any matter of technical advice, planning and delivery for extensive test equipment such as capacity or durability test stands. 80 % of our turnover is created with the automotive industry. In addition, the machine building and aircraft and hose  industries belong to our main customer groups.
 

Our highly motivated team of specialist engineers are committed to finding the best technical and economical solution for every challenge given. A very high number of follow-up projects proves the successful cooperation with our customers.
